DESCRIPTION
There exist in the world Devils born from human fears who possess powerful supernatural abilities and harm humans. Denji is a young, broke man who works for the yakuza as a Devil Hunter in an attempt to repay his late father’s debts. Helping Denji with his task is his dog Pochita, who is actually a Devil that resembles a chainsaw. After being betrayed by the yakuza, Denji is killed by a Devil and Pochita is gravely injured. However, due to a previously made pact between the two, Pochita sacrifices himself and merges with Denji, reviving him as a human-Devil hybrid with kick-ass chainsaw powers! Now technically a Devil himself, Denji is recruited into the Public Safety Devil Hunters in order to avoid being hunted by them. How will his life change now that he’s the Chainsaw Man?
